Introduction to the blog : Namma Bengaluru

I love namma bendakaluru or bengaluru . In a time when everyone is complaining about how much and how badly bengaluru has changed [including me at times ! ] , I have decided to start a blog on all the good things about bengaluru - the best things actually . Good is an understatement really . True , the climate is not as pleasant as it used to be three years ago [thanks to global warming and pollution kanri !] , the tradition is not as similarly intact as it was a few years ago [ yella localites abroad and all the 'outsiders' in nammooru, in yen aagbeku?! ] , the population was not this horrific [ iro baro jana ella ille - everyone loves coming to Bangalore - Constitution guarantees freedom of movement you see - yenu madakke aagalla! ] and materialism wasn't this high [ these auto fellows i tell you ! :| matte those malls .. am sure my now late tatha never spent so much in his entire life's wardrobe as my friend did on his brother's wedding [ Rs.35,000]!


Sigh... all that apart.. exactly what i want to get away from , is why am attempting at this blog . I don't know about how i can save namma bengaluru . I am only going to enjoy whatever is left of it [ pun intended ] and am going to try and show you the best of my city - the old world charms included ] . And am sure you'll fall in love with bengaluru too , but let me warn you.. its already too over the over-crowded. :P ;)


P.S. You may question me as to my choice of language here . No no , am not gonna quote Article 19 of the Consti , rather I am using this Engli-pishu , so that my non-kannada friends can understand and enjoy too. [ Adu bere naanu kannada bariyodalli swalpa weaku nodi. :P ]
